I noticed that Real Models is releasing three new US Army Vehicles to their inventory. Can anyone tell me where I could purchase the latest issue, #35116 5 Ton M816 Medium Wrecker? Also Mig Productions has the new NATO Loader, where could I purchase one of those? And last question, is the new Army Vehicle, Stryker being produced by anyone? Thanks guys- SSG Martin S. Kaufman

Try Real Model and MIG directly, they both have websites. You can also try the online stores affiliated w/Armorama.

The Stryker is supposed to be out sometime this year from Trumpeter. Keep your fingers crossed.

Martin:

If you find the M-816 at a decent price will you let me know? I own the real McCoy but will soon part with it and probably should immortalize it as it is in plastic and paint. Thanks [email protected]

Hey Paul, this is an 11 year old post and Martin has not been on the forum since 2009 so you might have better luck making a general inquiry, or you could try emailing him direct via the email in his profile(if it is still active).

Kind of expensive at US $179 + postage (and possibly customs et.c):

Hi Mate, Try E-Bay. Revell did release one of the old Renwal moulds of this and be warned it does need a LOT of T.L.C. Ask me how I know .
I built one about a year ago, it is very toy like but it does turn into a fair representation.

The Revell/Renwall kit is not the same as above. It is supposed to be the earlier (M54-based) M62 5-ton wrecker. It is also 1/32 scale, and as stated, very toy-like.

I would spend the extra money and get the Real Model kit if you are looking for a good representation of a 5-ton wrecker.
