I was wondering, the bustle rack extensions mounted on USMC M1A1's in the early stages of OIF, were they painted to match the camo of the rest of the tanks when mounted on vehicles with 3-tone NATO camo, or were they overall green? Just got a BRE (and ice chest, as well as some other goodies he threw in) from Gary Johnson here on Armorama a few days ago and need to know how to paint it.

Some were green, some were sand. Either way is correct, your choice.
