I want to make a dust free display case using wood and plexiglas. I am slammed for time and wonder if there may be someone out there with some nice simple plans/something that is medium in size. Thanks.

Thanks for the scans and info, however I was looking more for something along the lines of a formal display case that sits on the floor or mounts to a wall?

Jet,

If you hit the banner below, and go the "The Author" page, you might get an idea from the ones that I built. Mine are made of glass and wood, but have served me well over the past 15 years.

Rtwpsom2- I work in the movies painting sets that are constucted by carpenters in the next shop, so anything I can't handle I'm sure one of the boys would be able to assist. Have ya got something for me?

Have you checked out IKEA or the equivelent? They have some quite cheap display cases that would be perfect for displaying models in. Even some second hand furniture stores may have what you are looking for!

Here's a relatively easy way to make a display case. If you are near an IKEA, get one of their Billy book cases that fits the location you have in mind. If not, most any book case will do. You can then get some door hardware from Lee Valley Tools. You can get some plexi for the door(s) and shelves. Some mirror for the back, and voila --- instant display case. The link will take you to the door hardware.
