Hi fellas,
I have started the old Tamiya M42 Duster, and want to build it in a Vietnam dio setting, so I need some reference pics.
If those have some other vehicles alongside, even better....
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Howdy Klaus,
I discovered one at the Colorado Highway Patrol/Colorado State Detention Center some years ago...it is in superb condition. I always planned to stop by and take some photos for reference, but the process you have to go thru to get in the fence always seem to be enough to 'put me off'....one of these days

They were used for both. You'll find some info about the use of M42s in Vietnam here :

The Dusters were used at bridges and fixed base security. They saw very little if any convoy security duties. They wore out the tracks too fast and they could not keep up with the trucks. It was a comforting sight to see them at the bridges though. The M 48 tank also was used at the bridges and at certain check points along some of the more traveled roads.
