hey everyone its that time of the month again! :-) This month I bring to the table Dragons Panther G Smart kit. "Its smart" I built it OOB to see what all the hubbub was on these new kits,. all I can say is, I still want p/e etch parts! anyway, I modeled it as tank 301 of the 9th SS Berlin 1945 ,according to Tamiya,(I used their decals) . Though, Tamiya shows it being an ambush scheme, but the photo in Jentzs book clearly shows its not. also seen in Concords Panther at War.
Ive got more photos here if youd like to view more.

Thanks Russell. I used Vallejo acryls Burnt Umber thinned with a tad bit of water, just eyeballed it. I applied it with a small corner of a Scoth Btite green scouring pad. Most of the spots you see on this model though are just dirt spots. I did this with very thin black pigments thinned with water. Usinga stiff brush ,dipped it in the mix, and wipped most of it off. Then using my thumb I flicked the mix onto the model in random areas. I tried to avoid a heavy paint chipping. This vehicle being rather new and ony saw a few months of service before breaking down. In reality, it really shouldve had little to no paint chipping.
