Hi guys, I'm wondering what type of radio antenna I should put on my Tiger 1 late version. I've seen some antenna that look like the ribs of an upside-down umbrella, but I have no idea what "version" that is correct for. Ideally, the Germans would have used a simple whip antenna that I can duplicate with a piece of wire, but I suppose I should be accurate about it

Any info would be appreciated

The upside down umbrella antenna was used on a lot of earlier command vehicles, but things needed to be simplified by the time the late variant came out. A simple whip antenna was used. Lengths varied, as these were simple lengths with threaded ends and could be jound to additional pieces. I have seen one vehicles with what appears to be a thirty foot antenna, but I understand this was unusual. I go for about a 7 to 8 cm piece of wire.
