Olive drab. Bear in mind that OD can vary greatly from a near green drab to almost brown drab.

Any of the the "olive drab " paints from the following maufactures are sufficient for
W.W.II American armored vehicles:
- Humbrol 155 ( enamel ) - Model Master 1711( enamel ) - Vallejo 889 ( acrylic ).
I have used these myself. .

Any version of Olive Drab will do.. since they varried greatly..

Model Master makes several versions of Olive Drab that I like.. all enamals.

1711 Olive Drab FS#34087 is the greener of these,
2050 Olive Drab ANA 613 is slightly darker and more drab.
2051 faded Olive drab is a slightly ligher version of the Ana 613.

I recently did an M8 using the 2050, and the results can be seen at the following site.
keep in mind that I lightened it slightly for scale effect.
