i just bought tamiya’s t-34/85 kit. i’ve decided to build it as a tank at the start of 1945 in east prussia (one of four options). the kit instructions tell me it should have winter camo applied. i plan to add some soviet infantry tank riders from dragon (kit # 6197) to add some spice. My question is, what sort of uniforms should they be wearing? the box art shows them wearing tan colored uniforms. but i'm thinking, since the tank has winter camo, are the tan uniforms appropriate? didn’t the russians have white winter jackets or something like that? don’t know much about the russkies. i really could use some help...

thanks for that sandy. but does that mean that the khaki uniforms wil be just fine on a winter camouflaged t-34?

thanks ian. i’m not much good at painting figures. just finished my first batch of german fallschirmjaegers (ardennes, 1944) for my king tiger. i did my best with the bodies but the heads look pretty goofy. hope to do better with these russkies. just got into modeling this year. the t-34 will be my 3rd build.
