The turret interior was OD, the interior area around the driver's compartment and sub turret floor was white.

hey,
when building our M-18,i wasn't sure about this or other open topped vehicles.M-10,M8,etc,so i asked around, and was told that they where white from the factory, and once delivered they could be paint by thier crew,or relied on the canvas cover ,that they came with, crews where also know to lay boards across the opening,to hide the white paint and protection from falling debris.
