Are one company's products better than another's? Both of them sell, for example, 1930's gasoline pumps for the same price. Which manufacturer makes the more desirable ones?

Hi Tom,
Never bought this kit.
I Know Azimut is not specialized in diorama accessories, unlike Custom.
BUT, Azimut is specialized in resin subject (figures, vehicules, conversion set) Custom is specialized in Plaster element.
I guess your Gas pump is in resin. So I recommend you Azimut in this case.
Best,
Julien

Azimut and Customer Service are two, not mutualy aquinted, separate entities.
BTW MR Azimut, I still wait for my Schmallturm barrel. But don't worry about sending it in the post, I'll see you in Telford.
A very patient Henk

Hi Henk and Vinnie,
I don't know about Azimut Customer services, but want I can tell you, because I've visited their shop in Paris many times, is that the boss is a real, but I mean a very real a** hole, a jerk (my english vocabulary is too limited to explian you in detail my hate of thsi guy).
Some of the employees are cool, some less, but this guy beat all the records. He desserves the Guiness book.
I think the customer service is so poor because the guys have to care about physical shop and internet or phone orders, with a bug*er on their back all day long.
The only positive thing is that the prices in their shop is lower than the others.

Besides the Customer Service issues, I have yet to come across an Azimut kit where the resin either fits, or is not warped...

Has anyone ever tried using any of their dioramic products? How good are they?
