Here is my entry for the MoM competition , its AFV Club's Centurion in Aussie service.
Overall a very nice kit indeed despite a few niggly little details.
I added a canvas gun mantlet made from milliput and lead foil, replaced the mesh on the turret bustle and added wiring for the searchlight.
Its painted with humbrol enamels and weathered with Mig pigments and chalk pastels

Nicely done Ian. The mantlet cover came out pretty good.

Good luck this month too!

Gday Ian
This has turned out a treat!
The weathering effects are really real (?) the pigments look great...
I thought there was an obvious spotlight on the centurion though?
Best of luck
Cheers

I really like your mesh on the turret. Could you tell me what you used please?
Many thanks

Hi Tony

Its a bit of a mystery as to what it actually is , :-) , my dad was cleaning out his garage and found it and passed it onto me knowing im allways looking for lead foil etc.
I think it is a mesh to repair holes in an exhaust pipe but im not 100% sure.

I do still have quite a bit left , if you would like some of the mesh pm me your address and i will send you some
