Most armor companies have at least 1 TWMP. It is almost always attached to a platoons 2 or 3 tank. But they are also on an as available basis. As far as 3ACR having them I dont know. In 1991 D Co 3-67 had 1 TWMP and 1 Roller and A Co 1-37 had 2 of each in 92-93

Razor635 is correct. Each company has one roller and one plow as part of its basic equipment. 3ACR most likely did use their plows on their initial movement and occupation into Iraq. Once the initial invasion was over though, plows were no longer used since there were no more minefields to clear a lane through. When they did use them, again, the color could be either sand, forest green, or NATO camo, depending on where the plow came from. Most likely it would be sand since they brought their tanks from the US and they are all sand in color.

90% of TWMPs will be green or tan. 3 color camo is very rare to see as they are painted by the units after issue. Also when the tank is parked the plow will be stored in the lowered position to release the weight on the suspention to keep the rotary shocks from getting damaged.

TWMPs issued in Saudi Arabia for Desert Storm will not have data plates. They where Isreali made and they where removed for political reasons.

Also the plow tank will have the Lane Marking kit attached to the rear grill if it was issued to the company.

During breeching operations the man gun is turned over the right side of the tank, This is to protect the gun and primary sight if a min goes off.

CLAMS (Clear LAne Marking System) was found to be ineffective in ODS and are no longer used. You won't find them on any tanks in OIF.

My unit in Germany had one post ODS. It got destroyed in Hohenfels due to poor mounting design. The tank had to negotiate a ditch and the CLAMS doesn't flip up like a fender mounted APU and crunch. It wasn't pretty.
