Hi... in short: Tamiya...(it´s best to add some after market sets such as photo eched parts)
Mention, that all dragon m1´s got a interior, some more details, and the anti skid coating... tamiya´s tank not...
while the tamiya kit has got a great fit...
(oh, and by the way, forget the other kits... they can´t beat tamiya and dml^^)

Of your choices, Tamiya's M1A2 is the best, followed by the 10+ year old Dragon kit. Academy does not make an M1A2. Not mentioned are the Italeri M1A2 and the Trumpeter M1A2. Both are decent kits with some faults.

Having built the Tamiya M1A2, its definitely a really great kit to build. Good fitting and lotsa stowage goodies in there. I really didnt too well for that kit though so i do hope to get another one and start over. I will probably have a better crack at DML's M1A1 instead.
