Hi all,

was wondering if Dragon's magic tracks are available seperatley ? Specifically for there USMC Abrams Baghdad 2003 version. I have been thinking about robbing them out of the M1 Panther 2 kit I have, also Dragon. I REALLY REALLY hate length and link tracks, but I find magic tracks good to work with.

Thanks for any help

Although Dragon have sold traks separately in the past, as far as I know the 'Magic Tracks' are not yet available separately.

You can try to buy them from Dragon as parts from their customer assistance department. I've bought many a Tamiya parts sprues simply as 'aftermarket' parts for ship models of different brands.

Hi,

As far as I know they are not available separately.

I just wish that Dragon release their 'Magic Tracks' as a separate product. I'll be willing to pay in order to get these 'Magic Tracks' for my older Dragon kits (M1 Abrams, Panther, Sherman and T-34).

Thanks.

You might try asking if anyone has extras in the buy/sell/trade forum. I've seen lots of new Dragon kits that have Friuls or MK tracks installed instead of the Magic Tracks. So there have to be some extras hanging out there somewhere.

I'm hoping so anyway, as I used the set from my Mark IV D on the DML Stug III C I am building. I just couldn't stand snipping 200 links from sprues.
