Hello all,
I've recently upgraded to an airbrush and I'm loving it. It's an Iwata Revolution CR and it works great with Tamiya, Model Master acrylics and Model Master Metalizers. However, PolyScale just won't cooperate!
My biggest issue has been tip dry on the needle. While spraying, it'll dry at random times. Increasing the paint flow breaks through it easily, but it can screw up a paint job fast if I'm not careful.
Any tips or tricks for spraying this line of paints? I've used bottled water and distilled water as thinners (up to 50:50 ratio) as well as no thinner at all. I've varied my output pressure from 15psi all the way to 25psi with similar results. I've even tried some Liquitex acrylic extender, but no such luck.
I really like some of the colors in this range, so any help would be appreciated.
