This must be seen as good news. Firstly for those who build 1/16 ... what an impressive piece this will be in that scale ... hopefully they go the whole nine yards and offer a complete engine again. This time the excellent detail will be seen!
For those who build 1/35, this has to be a major step towards realising a modern version. If Trumpeter put the same effort into this vehicle as any of their T34s, or indeed, any of their recent releases (in all scales), we“re in for a treat. I can imagine the interest that this will generate. If that interest sees a trend in US halftracks being built, Dragon, AFV club or even Trumpeter could be hitting the shelfs with the 1/35 version.

After all the moaning about when will we see a modern US halftrack ... whats the chances of moans now about it being in the wrong scale!

S&T Products makes a couple of US figures in 1/16 scale that would go nicely with it.

And maybe a year or so later, HobbyBoss could scale it down to 1/48 like they did with Trump's T34. Well, one can hope!

hehehe...I don't care anymore. Picked up a 1/35th one off e-bay for £10 which was half what they normally go for so that's a result. :-)
