I saw in a film a US Jeep with a 50 cal in the normal posistion, but also a 30 cal mounted to the side of the jeep, so that the passenger could use it.
Anybody any ideas on how to make this? Or know of any pictures of this?
Thankyou

Hi Harry
Here are some pics of the M48 Dash mount that was used to mount a .30 MG on the passenger side of the jeep :

Sorry I don't think that such a mount exist in 1/35 (but I'm no expert...).
Here's another possibility :
More pics on Tanxheaven
IMHO, this one should be easier to scratchbuild....

Thankyou very much Frenchy!
Can anybody tell me if I can get hold of that rectangular mounting cradle bit under the gun in 1:35? (I have the rounder cradle but not that one) Is it in the Acadamy MG set?
If not, has anybody any advice on how to build it?
Thanks!

The rectangular mounting, .50 Browning and ammo box mounting are spare parts in the Acadamy M3A1 Stuart (sprue D).

If the cradle in the picture is the same as the .50 cal MG cradle, then you can indeed find this part in Academy's US Machine gun set...

Thanks guys. THANKS FRENCHY!
Yes I was talking about the cradle in the picture you showed from Tanxheaven (thanks for this great link), and it looks like I'll be running out to buy one of those Academy sets!
Cheers!
