I'm trying to start a new series about vintage models. One of the first ones I will do is a Scorpion Armored Car made by Tamiya. Once I figure out how to layout the series of articles, I may continue with other models of various genres.

Not to sound "moronic" but are you doing builds of these? Or more like "MOD"s of classics?
I've been snooping all over ebay seeing some of these older gems and they are very interesting. I've seen some go for big dollars never to see the light of day in any form. So whichever way you go this will be nice to see.

Most of the kits are fairly rare so I won't build them. I may eBay them after I do an article on the kit. Most of them have nostalgic value and are no longer serious model kits.

That's actually a good thing. The history in those kits is more valuable than the experience you get building them.

Cool Idea Robin.
A friend of mine has been thinking about doing something similar for WW, except that he was going to show all versions of a particular vehicle made. His first vehicle was going to be the M8 greyhound, with info, pics, facts on the old Tamiya kit, the Monogram 1/32 kit, etc.
Definitely let us know when you get this stuff up.
