It crashed for me too, I think it was because Jim was updating the site,

The site was down this morning when I got up. Not sure what was going on with it. I put in a service request to our host and they restarted the server. As far as I know no posts should have been lost from last nights outage (only from the restoration the day before).

At about 1300 CET the site vanished before my eyes...

I realized something was wrong when I didn't have access to '/' directory...

We just had another hicup. Unfortunately it's crunch time on numerous projects at work so I am working overtime to get those done. I really need to start looking at optimizing and controling the database better as that is what is crashing the site. The database queries go wacko and use up all the available resources. By wacko I think they start doing looping or non-stop commands that just keep humming away until we crash. I am having to start and stop MySQL (blah blah blah) to get the resources (memory) back.
