Hopefully we'll get something a little better than their Sherman series. That was a disappointment, even looking at the box art, they didn't even compare to the old Esci kits, let alone the newer Dragon Shermans.

Hi Robin
Yes i agree about the shermans as i was looking forward to them but after seeing the pics of them on this site i was well & truely put of. I have bought the Dragon M4A3(76)w and all i can say is WOW. I think Dragon are the future for braille scale models as well as Revell(G).
What kits would you like to see from the two above companies? Here's my wish list
Chieftain(various)
Charrve
Centurian(various)
Scimiter & scorpian
Merkavas(2d's &3D's, 4 etc)
Lav 25 series
crew & infantry in the same plastic as the kit
I think that will give them something to think about to start with.
All the best

Hi everyone
The new trumpeter Chally 2's are out, they have been anounced on track-link. They have released two versions, a plain one and of course a iraq version. I for one hoped for a kfor version with dozer blade but it will be interesting to compare them with dragons kits.

Darn, just thought of two more kits I'd like to see in dust-mite scale:
The Stryker, and the Cadillac Gage Combat Car (brain fart on nomenclature) the MP's have been using in Iraq. With the CG turret housing .50cal and Mk19.

It's the V-100 if IIRC. The Styker would be very nice, but I'm not holding my breath as WWII models are far more important compared to modern AFVs and figures just aren't very important to Dragon and Trumpter in 1/72 compared to 1/35 scale.

Here are a couple of already existing models:
Scimiter & scorpian---> Try ACE models ( http://www.acemodel.com.ua ) 1/72 Scale plastic limited production
Merkavas(2d's &3D's, 4 etc) ----> Try Cromwell models (http://www.cromwellmodels.com) in their "Combat 72" rage. Resin models
Lav 25 series ----> Ace had them (the whole series) they are OOP but you can still find some left in shops. Just bought the whole series recently.
V100 ----> try Extratech
http://tracks-n-troops.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=27&products_id=721
M108/A1
M109 series
M110
M577/A1-A2
M35 series
M561series
Are these are variations of the M113? Can the Isreali versions help?
Try Goffy Models http://goffymodel.czweb.org/72.html
or ModelTrans http://www.modelltrans.de/artikel/index.php?hersteller=ModellTrans&ms=72&klasse=Panzer&action=seek
At least here http://www.modelltrans.de/neuheiten/ you have the M577.
As for the Sheridan: Camo on guys you have the AIRFIX one!!!!! :-) :-) :-) :-)
I do hope this helps

The M108 series, M109 series and M110 series are SP arty vehicles, the M577 series are tracked command posts based upon the 113 chassis and the M35 series is the good ole Duece & 1/2 and I don't recall what the 561 is

The M561 is the old 6-wheeled Gamma Goat that was phased out in the mid to late 80s. It served for such a short time that it seems unlikely that someone would produce one in plastic.
