Jeremy Witt over at the ML Allied DG spotted DML M3/M3A1 sprues in these Euromilitaire photos by John Harris:

Not unexpected but hopefully the M3/M3A1 won't be too far behind the M2/M2A1!

I think he mis-labelled his comments as M2/M3 Halftrack when the sprues are for the 2-in-1 M2/M2A1 instead. At least, that's how that post read to me. From what little I can make out of the sprues and the graphics behind them, they are all for the M2/M2A1?

Hey Bill: Regardless of how he posted the label for his photos, look carefully at the sprues -- you see parts for the rear wall with exit door and another part that shows the lengthened rear compartment too. Jeremy spotted the M3bits in the middle of the M2/M2A1 roll out material.

judging from the way Dragon attacked the German halftrack scene, I would expect a similar barrage to come out for American halftrack kits

On the first photo of the M2 sprues there are two rear armorplates with door openings. Also on the same sprue there is the long (10 seat) passanger compartment for the M3 and later versions. The short part for the M2 is on a different sprue, visible on the last two shots. So beware on the road, M3 column is coming!

Sweet! Guess that shows the limits of my knowledge of parts between an M2 and M3, didn't catch that. :-)

Hi All,
A little off topic
I'm not sure, because the first (original) post with the ML link seems to have dissappeared, but at the bottom of the link did it mention a new kit of modern figures. Something about USMC Iraq?

It's great to hear about the M2/M2A1. Any more info on the M4A2 as seen in the background?

You may have clicked on the HIDE USER button whch is why you're not seeing the first post, in which case there should be a button at the bottom of the thread that says CLICK TO RESTORE ALL HIDDEN USERS.
By the way has anyone else been dreaming about the M2A1 since it was announced.

You're asking the impossible Jim! It's Christmas morning and I can't open presents because the bedroom door is stuck!
How much would it take to persuade you to knock out the DML official and take those sprues from his display??

If you look carefully in those photos you can see the new Poland 1939 figure set from DML (just below the halftrack).

I found this on Militrary hobbies website yesterday! Looks very good! I'm sure with dragon thoroughness they will use main sprues over and over to get multiple kits (M-3's etc) and prob even the M-3 scout car out on the market. Just like the landslide that followed their first german halftrack.
