Does anyone know what the self life is for moddlleing products auch as
paints, pigments, glues, filters, pre thinned paints, etc. oir is there one?
I have to put the hobbie on hold for awhile so I worried some of theses things might be wasted.
Thanks
Rick

Properly and airtight stored I believe you can leave it a very long time. Some years ago I found a Humbrol tin my from my grandpa, it was no problem using it and it had probably been standing on that shelf for at least 5-10 years.

Filters and pre-thinned paints???? Are these something you´ve mixed up yourself? I really cant see them surviving. They´ll probably break up.
Paints depending on brands can last for a very long time ... and Humbrols I have experience of myself .... some of mines are 10 years + old. Im sure the rest in air-tight glass or tin bottles will be OK. Plastic packaging though, are a little more suspect.
Superglues can be stored in the fridge to prolong their shelf life ... or just use them for everyday needs. Plastic cement .... havent a clue.

I would say keep the paints in manufacturers packaging in a cool dark place and bin the glues as they are cheap enough to replace. Mind you cyano might be useful for those quick repairs around the house, when you break the wifes favorite ornament.........as we all do.

I got about a dozen bottles of testors enamal and Model master enamal I bought back in 1989 when I first thought about taking up the hobby.. back then I really couldn't get into it so I tossed them into a box untill a few years ago... and they are still good.. requires some stirring and thinning but they work...........
