Excellent work on the BTR-T. I built the SP Designs kit, so I know what you went through, in a way.
The only thing I do not like about the RM kit is the turret is a very early prototype and was immediately changed over to the more common turret with the AT-4/5 mounting post and the larger gun mount system for the BMP-2 2A42 (?) 30mm Autocannon. This is the version that was touted around to all the EXPO's and such before the BMP-T was finally selected instead. Had RM done this more publicised version, it would be a great conversion. oh well...
Now if only someone would do a kit of the BMP-T ...

HI
I like it. The Russians/Ukrainians are great at converting older hulls into neat variants.
How was the kit to build??

Hello Bulivyf, did not mean to imply that you did anything wrong, just taht I wish Real Model had done up the most common version...their fault, not yours.
The version you have is the initial mock-up...the gun is really just a metal tube, it does not fire. It was very exciting to see at the time and many people guessed that there would be a 50mm autocannon on it. Once the operational test version came out, it had the standard 2A42 30mm autocannon on it, which makes sense for urban fighting on that turret design.
However, you have done a excelletn job with the kit, keep up the good work. What Russian - based armor will you do next?

Yeah, I know it can be hard to get pics for detailing, especially of prototype vehicles.
Very nice Polish T-55 engineering vehicle. I like the fact that they are arming it with a AGL rather than the usual LMG or nothing. Now who wants to make a kit of it? :-)

Very well done. Excellent research and modeling of a not-so-common vehicle!
