Gents,
A few pics of my recently finished OOB Hasegawa 251/9D Stummel. The only additions are some AB crew and replacing the fender width indicators with brass rod to survive the handling. Its now bound for the wargaming table ............
cheers
Brent

Brent,
I was amazed when I saw that this is a 1/72nd scale kit, the quality that you have achieved on such a tiny kit is excellent. Hope to see some more in the future.

Once again you have inspired me, how do you get your paint schemes to look so good in this scale. Mine always turn out streaky when i paint by brush.

I thought first it was a 1/35 kit. How did you do the camo pattern? Even the figures are amazin. (I hope this sentence came out as I intended... In 1/72 the figures usually, well, simply put, suck. Not these ones.)

Nice work Brent.
Love that. Question, what are the Has kits like as the only ones I've built so far have been a bit toy like ie having metal axles and no chassis (spelling?) detail?
Love the camo in this scale how do you do it? brush or air?
Ciao

Hi Luciano, (and others)
Sorry for the delay in answering - been pretty busy recently.
The newer Hasegawa kits (251 Halftracks and 234 8wheel armd cars) are all very good. I can't answer for their dimensional accuracy as I'm no rivit man but they look the part and have generally got good reviews.
And the paint is all brushwork. I haven't got around to getting an airbrush as generally the cleaning has put me off........
cheers

How exactly do you use that brush?
Thank you -your help is greatly appreciated. (So far I haven't been strong enough to start airbrushing in 1/72, so if there's an alternative, I'm all for it.)
