Greetings all,

Pawel, Ho, Ho, Ho - yes please - I can't help but get excited about this kit and the possibiltiies of more varients in the future, now they have all the basic hulls well ..............

Al, I have to say I've grown fond of the individual tracks, is that wierd or what, I think it has something to do with the relief/satisfaction you get when you get them made :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Jim, thanks for the links to the reviews.

What a good year.

Cheers all

Al

The boxart has changed comparing to the poster - unfortunately it's not Volstad. But the critics praises the kit.

Does somebody knows why Dragon's site has not been updated for two weeks? It's absolutely unusual, there are no news about any new or coming kits.

Pawel, thanks for the info. Given that this is a plastic M4A2 I can live with the choices of DSecal. I'll get to work and see what marking options I can come up with for you regarding a Polish Vehicle. I really thought the Royal Scots Greys would have been an option in the Original Ambush Scheme.
One last question; does the kit have the option of a one piece nose?

Keep up the good fight. It's really appreciated.

According the boxart and Cookie Sewell the kit has a "soft" type early one piece transmission cover.

Sorry Laszlo, I was referring to the Sherman III kit which will follow.

I consider that the individual track links have driven you insane to make a statement like that! I'd suggest threee sets of MK ones to cure you

Cheers

"Officially" only three-piece transmission cover option is included. But parts for later type (with double tow eyes and sharp nose) one-piece transmission cover will be on one of sprues, just marked "not for use" in instructions. Earlier type one-piece transmission cover that is included in M4A2 Tarawa kit will not be present in Sherman III kit. Also note that there were small modifications to fit of hull parts made between M4A2 and Sherman III kits and it is likely that one-piece transmission cover part may not fit well to new Sherman III parts. New three-piece cover was designed specifically for improved hull parts in Sherman III kit.

Because DML people responsible for website updates were very busy in last two weeks. They were in Folkestone for EuroMilitaire and then in Japan for "flea market". They are now back in HK, so regular updates should resume soon.
