As news stories seem to be left to Jim I thought id just post this for anyone interested on some new releases from Lion roar I just saw on PMMS, also I cant be bothered to go through the process of posting a news article.

These look like two nice sets, although I some what wonder how useful they are as they seem almost identical to Eduards offering-strange! The armor set especially looks like the eduard set, I will have to pick these up for a closer look.

Sorry i think I may of caused some confusion here, I dont think this is a rip off set or a direct copy. My thoughts were that this set doesnt look as if it address's some issues that Eduard left out and maybe modellers will be left to decide whether to get the Lion roar set or edyard set based purely on whether they prefere which ever manufacturer not based on the fact one set has different/more bits included. I do apologise for giving the impression I thought it was a pirate copy or something.
If you guys are willing id love to review these sets!

This is slightly off topic:
I was just looking at Lion Roar's Humvee PE sets and have a question I hope someone can help answer. The pictures on Lion Roar's web site seem to indicate that both sets LE35072 and LE35073 include a weapons shield. Is that correct? I'm thinking of buying one or the other, and the inclusion of the weapons shield will likely determine which one I purchase.
If both of them have it, then so much the better!

Oh, yes, I found their site with Google. Here's the link:
http://www.lionroar.net/default.asp
The site forced me to install an ActiveX control, so it won't work on a Mac or with Firefox (I tried). It's definitely up to date, as I found the Humvee sets without a hitch.

Hi Lucas,
Just received all three sets but only 35073 has the weapons shield.
Set 35071 and 35072 are far more comprehensive but set 35073 just has the armour panels and doors.
Cheers

Terry--If I understand correctly, set 35073 has the armored doors and the weapons shield. Does it also have the 40mm grenade launcher ammo basket and the other random bits of external photoetch you can see in the the following photos?
Thanks for bearing with me. The end of the year is nigh and my modeling budget is low, so I'm moving carefully on this purchase...
Jim--I hope it's OK that I referenced the images from your news item on the Lion Roar releases in my post. Let me know if it isn't and I'll edit my post accordingly.

Hi Lucas,
No, 35073 only has the armour panels, no additonal ammo baskets or other bits, the images are a little misleading as they include parts from the other sets.
I have posted reviews of the three sets for those interested.
Cheers
