Hello guys,

since my first base using the praised wild grass foliage (e.g. Heki or Woodland scenics) comes near completion, but would ask a simple question to pro's:

Do you seal your entire diorama after completion with clear coat?
I have the bad feeling, that the clear coat (i use vallejo acrylic) might stick the grass strands together and ruin the whole base...

Thx for your comments.

Gday Patrick
No pro here bro
But I wouldn't as I think what you fear MAY happen... I don't seal it at all...
Good luck and I look forward to seeing the finished thang!
Cheers
Brad

just wanted to know on that one. maybe more of interest, since i don't think i will seal the vignette at all. actually it has a quiet flat finish, that i don't want to ruin by using clear coat (you really don't know if it's dries as flat as you want it to have)
