Anyone know anything about this Trumpeter kit? Going rate on eBay looks to be about $22, I wonder if it is worth it? Type 89 ICV

Its supposed to be apart of the new generation of Trumpeter kits....along with the AS-90 and the Challenger II, not sure on the quality, but if its like the two above mentioned that I have read in the reviews....its not a bad kit. Not sure what they would go for in the US, but up here you are looking at $30-$40 Canadian.....so, by the time you get shipping on it....would probably be that same at a good hobby shop if they can get it.

Here is a page that has some reviews of some of the trumpeter kits....the AS-90 was the last to come one I believe. Looking for another site out of Australia called JB Distributors, or JD Distributors....they have some reviews as well....and actually the ones I read.

I've read some rather vague good reviews about the kit. I'm thinking about bying it pretty soon. The price you're giving seems to be the same as the one found in hobby shops here in France.

Sounds good. It'll give me something to put next to my Type 90, kind of a stable mate.
