I am sure this has been asked before, but I have not seen the answer. What are the "tweaks" for the old kit?
(NOT the new release by Dragon) All help is appreciated!
Thank you in advance

The easiest thing you can do to make the old DML kit more accurate is to get the Commander Series Models update set, and the two Eduard PE sets for the kit.. The CSM update set corrects the front end and gives you the stuff you need to fill out the fighting compartment while the Eduard sets provide ammo racks and all of the little detail fittings to spruce things up.
BTW, the price quoted on the CSM website for the set (#2-049) is higher than he charges if you go through him directly. He gives either a 10 or 15% discount if you order directly from him. Ted is a really nice guy and he will have the kit to you very quickly.

Tweak is or are:
1. the compartment is too simplified
2. The nose has wrong rivet arrangement
3. the whole kits' fit is horrible.
These are the major ones, and there about another 150 ones... How do I know? Because I just recently build one with the Commander upgrade, and Eduard.
You are better off to get the new Hornisse.

Yeah, I think Dave has it right, I never finished the one I had several years ago.
