Hi guys,
Her are a few in-progress shots of my latest project.
It’s a IDF M-113.
I’m using Academy’s M-113 Zelda a base kit, Modelkaste tracks and a little scratch building.
It’s still a work in progress so any hint’s tip’s etc. are welcome.

Hi guys,
Here is a small up-date.
I’m still working on the interior, it’s just the base coat now.
And I added 100+ sandbags (still need to add the knots).
I saw a lot of sandbag used on the IDF M-113’s so I thought I would add them as well.
I also added mesh to the air intakes (scratch build from nylon and copper mesh cut to size)

Hey Janwilliam,
that is coming along nicely mate, two questions for you, is there any specific reason you use the MK tracks instead of the Fruil ones? Second question, did you change the liner in the drivers cupola, it still looks a bit to large to me?
Other than that i think you are onto another winner here...congrats!!

I'm using the Modelkaste tracks because I had a set laying around (on a old model) as for liner in the drivers cupola it is flush with the inside so I geuss it sould be ok (but that I could also be wrong ) but I'll check my reverence.
Thanks swamp

The width of the inserts in the drivers hatch look like they extend past the lip of the cipole, i thought they should be flush, especially at the front of the cupole where one of the panels for the driver is....could be wrong though and it is just the angle of the photgraph that makes it seem like this?

It looks very nice. The addition of the sandbags is very nice. It gives it a more "in action" feel. I guess you made them from milliput?
The sandbags hanging on the front somehow looks a bit odd to me - did you see that way of attaching sandbags in a reference?
