Anyone use either of these sets for the LAV-25? I picked one up today figuring I could paint it and my AIM at the same time. The pe sets both look virtually identical. I am having a little trouble finding them from a US supplier. Any help is appreciated!

Great Models Webstore has the Eduard set for the Trumpeter kit in stock.

Lucky Model in Hong Kong has the Lion Roar set for the LAV in stock and there is no charge for shipping. They ship items fast.

I looked up the set on the Eduard site and they actually post the instructions in PDF making it very easy to see what was involved. The website shows you clearly whats removed and what's replaced, so I can build while it ships. I found it on redfroghobbies. It seems anything that I have trouble finding is there I started putting the hull together, takes a lot of finesse with sanding sticks with the sharp edges, but its going to be a super cool model! It was under $20 shipped just about everywhere so I went with a site I had good experiences with. Thanks for the response!

Man google drives me nuts, I entered all kinds of keywords that should of found SOME comparison or at least a review! I'm glad I got the Eduard set then, the Trumpy props are excellent(they have had a ton of practice with props lately), and the rear basket is more then adequate for just adding the mesh. I will have a few ammo boxes and jerry cans that can be cheated from the AIM, so thats no problem either. The website instructions WERE helpful overall, not to mention 2 dozen pictures... Thanks for the link!

No one had it on Ebay outside Hong Kong, redfrog had it yet again(for the same price shipped). I trade and buy Pocher 1/8 scale car kits on ebay (about $400-$2500 and super rare) because it's the only place to do it. Most new model products are no cheaper on ebay then a reliable online store or the LHS. Ebay is mostly good for discontinued or collectable models, or big-dollar kits(msrp $100 or more) where the discount is more noticable.
