Greetings all,
The crew are now on board and I'd appreciate any comments you have on them or the fisherman's net.

Fantastic work Alan , the crews look great and you do get a real sense of them in preparation for the task ahead.
Where did you get or what did you use for the chains and ropes, they looks great ?

Hi Guys,
Ian,
The chain comes from Accurate Armour there are different sizes depending on what you want and the majority of the rope from Billing Boats Accessories comes in 20m and 30m rolls. (very cheap) I got it from a model shop somewhere in England!! I've lost the email address but I did put it in a previous posts which I can't find and passed it onto Vinnie. It's either in one of the posts about the DUKW or my LC Trio discussion - I'll try and track it down.
Glad you liked the kits so far. I have dulled the crew clothing a little based on feedback and reflection and repainted the denim trousers of the LCP (R) crew which just didn't look right.
Andy,
Glad you liked the fisherman's net :-) :-) :-)
Cheers

Hi Ian,
The past post is working at the moment. I'll PM Vinnie and see if he still has the contact email.
I'm the mean time here's another link I came across:
http://aabt.co.uk/snboats-25.htm
They do Billings Boat stuff but don't have the particular thickness I use which are:
Rigging Thread 0.8mmx30m - 04-BF-0072
and
Rigging Thread 1.2mmx20m - 04-BF-0075
They have a 'contact us' so I may email them and see if they will get me some more as my stock is running low. :-) :-) :-) . They have other thread as well.
Best I can dp for now.
Cheers
