Greetings Everyone !
Inspired by on of the contest entries I've decided to built a replica of this reasonably worn KV-1. As always, would be great to hear what you think of the result:
P.S. The writing on the right cracks me up, translates to "Kill the Fascist Scum"

Personally it looks good to me...obvious question, Trumpeter KV-1? Those decals come as standard?

Hi,
Overall its a very nice job. One nitpick though is the track (both sides), the sag seem to be out of place...or is it just me.
Cheers

A good build.
A nit -- for a well worn vehicle the turret lettering looks a tad bright. Perhaps a bit too much silver on the tow cable ends and hull mg, but again this is a nice build. Congrats.

Thanks for the comments, all !
The kit was a real joy to buld, however fixing the rubber track to the return rollers was somewhat frustrating. I'm using superglue for this purpose and it doesn't seem to bind rubber too well. Would anyone suggest a better alternative ?

Ah, so you opted for the band tracks. The better alternative here would have been the link&length track. That choice has the sag built in and is easily assembled. Rubber tracks rarely respond well to attempts to induce sag with superglue. The best option for them is the old-fashioned pin-through-the-hull method.
Nice build though. Those Trump KVs are truly a joy to assemble. My only suggestions would be to dirty up those fenders (that flat surface collected dirt and dust) and rust the saw blade and exposed tow cables (I noticed one tow cable has both German-style and Russian-style loops?).
