I have an HP-C and an HP-CR. I have noticed that the needle on the HP-CR is always aligned in the center of the nozzle when the trigger is pulled back, however the needle in the HP-C is never aligned in the center of the nozzle when the trigger is pulled back. The needle presses to the side of the nozzle. I have removed the needle and rolled it across a mirror and it is straight and true. Why won't it center? The nozzle does not appear to be bent, twisted or warped. I know this can't be helpful for fine atomization. Your thoughts, Greg

Greg,
If the needle is true when rolled against a flat surface, I would suggest that the Teflon washer in the head has either been damaged or is missing.
If you cant find the problem send it to a service agent, if it is a manufacturing problem it may be covered under the 5 year warranty or you may have to buy a washer set.

You may have a point. I might need to have some repairs done. I am curious though if anyone else has this issue with their HP-C? I noticed it when I used a magnafing glass to inspect for paint after cleaning.
