Just a quick thought on the build, which looks overall good so far. A couple of the road wheels look like they are floating and not even with the ground. I would make sure they are all even before you go further unless you are meaning to have them going over something other than flat ground.
Looking forward to seeing more,

Great to see the smaller scales joining into this campaign. I have to say, for a small scale, it certainly is large on details.

Hello again.
My build goes on. I've paint hull with Pactra A33 Medium Green (FS 34102). I do it with brush so you can notice streaks. I hope that when I weather model, then it will be less visible.
Next, with pencil, I've draw lines of black and brown camouflage patches on my model.

DML's paint scheme is too small for me, so I use this scheme:
http://www.armouredacorn.com/Reference/ArmourColours/Leopard%202.pdfAdditionally I use also upper view without turret from Tamiya Leopard 2A6 instruction:

Nice progress so far. Are you paint brushing or airbrushing the final coats of paint?

Thanks Jeremy. I don't have airbrush, so all my models I paint with brush.
I weathered Leopard chassis:

It was my first "european" weathering, because so far I only try desert ones. I have used for it all I had under hand: black Model Master, artistic Van Dyck brown, acrylic enamel Pactra A53 Weathering and A52 Mud. Certainly I diluted these paints before imposing on model and next I wipe them off with clout.
As usual every your comments will be much appreciated.

Hey Tomek,
It's looking great! I too only paint with brushes and I get pretty good results. I enjoy hand painting my models the most but I certainly envy a few air brushed models I've seen on this site.
Good luck,
Gary

Thanks for the kind words Gary. It's good to know, that I'm not the only one brush painter.
I had some free time, so I have painted camouflage:

I must make corrections in few places with green paint. I will make it, when I will paint turret or side skirts. I have chosen on brown color Pactra A22 Earth Red (FS 30117), black is Model Master 1749 (FS 37038),+ a bit of white paint.
And now I have question. Do you maybe know what is that X 'es on front armor?

Nice work, If you want the colors to blend a little more, you could try to give the model a light wash of your green basecolor mixed 1:10 with thinner.
That will soften the edges and the difference in colors.
Have fun!

they are for driving on icy underground, as far as I know. Some rubber pads are exchanged for these.

Yes we call them Growsers, you punch out a rubber track pad and insert them in place.
cheers
One of the serious problems in planning against Canadian doctrine is that the Canadians do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligations to follow their doctrine.

Hi Tomek,
I don't have an answer to the X's question but the hand painted camo job looks excellent!

Thank you very much to all. I'm glad, that it pleases you.

My build moves forward very slowly. From aluminium foil I made mantlet cover.

I'm think about leaving one hatch opened. Is this good idea?
And here are MG3 from this kit:

Hallo everybody.
My build is almost completed. First I applied 2 coats of Model Master 4636 Flat Clear Acryl. And then I was trying to dust my tank with coat of well thined Pactra A53 Weathering.
X-es on front are shiny, becouse I still try to get better rusty look on them.

A here are comparison how looks clean and dirty model.

Of course any comments will be very appreciated.
