hi everybody i've attempted to weather the inside of a german half track with a rust pig pigment and it's far to RED it's the first time i've used pigments and was very impressed with the europe dust but the standard rust seems to unrealistic how i've applied it .any advice on how to calm it down? thanks

mix the rust pigment with the European dust or some other earthy pigment color. Adjust amounts till you achieve the shade and color of rust you like. If you need it darker...mix with dark brown or black.
Use several different combinations and shades on the particular area that you intend to 'rust' for a more realistic 'variation' of colors
Cheers,
Charles

Adding some info to charles post, there´s also a light rust sort of pigment, you can also try that one, in addition to mixing with earthy colors.
cheers
