Great work on the weathering!
Silly question but how different are the smart kits compared to the conventional dragon kits?

I really don't think they are that different as most current Dragon kits are very nice...I do like the approach of not having a PE fret with 3,000 parts on it....In the end the results seem to be pretty nice.... :-)

Thanks for all the compliments....I usually do aircraft...but before that I did armor to begin with....I grew up as a kid in the late 80's @ Ft.Hood, TX .......You get kinda spoiled in an environment like that as far as tanks/armor go...nothing like going out to North Ft.Hood and having a column of M1's or Bradleys rolling along side you at about 40 MPH....and about 30' off to your right...
I tried not to overdo the chipping (done with salt...) and keep the filters and washes visible but not overbearing....
Anyways...Thanks again.... -

Now that's what I call a debut! Welcome and good luck in the contest!
As far as the Smart Kit benefits go, one of the best is the inclusion of "Magic" tracks for the Pz I links. Previous kits had them on sprues with no less than 5 attachment points for each link and so much tension in the sprue that it was very easy to zipper an entire row in half with one mis-snip of the cutters.

Thanks for the compliments...and your right..."Magic Tracks" are the only way to go with links as small as what are on a Panzer I....I wish Dragon would sell the whole range of "Magic Tracks" as accessories....I bet they couldn't make them fast enough...
