First of all yes the wheels are all metal....second if you are looking for references on the Ferdinand ,there is a section in the Achtung Panzer #6 and there is a book called Combat History of Schwere Panzerjager Abteilung 653 by Karlhienz Munch. This book is published by JJ.Fedorowicz..This is 558 pages of info...Combat diaries, tons of pictures , drawings by Jean Restayn..Plan view drawings by Hilary Doyle..Expensive?? Yes ..Worth it?? Yes..
