Greetings all,
I'm just trying to breath some life into a couple of old Tamiya US Inf I have.
What's the best combination (Tamiya Paints) for US Army boots? Were they a light brown or a dark brown??? Were some black?
Same detail for US Army Shirts, were they OD or an off brown colour?
All the figs have the bomber style jackets and red/brown trousers.
Cheers
Al

During WWII, US boots were all brown. Depending on how new or worn they were, the color varied from a brightish chestnut red-brown to a dark, dirt brown, to a worn out gray-brown. Same for the t-shirts. They were issued in fresh OD green, but got dirty, worn and faded with use. The color varied greatly. Hope that helps.
