Acrylic over enamels Yes or no?

quick question...can i use MM and Tamiya acrylics for a camo over ModelMaster enamels used to for a base color...

It should not be a problem as long as the basecoat is dry.

Thatīs the metod I use. First I gave a base coat of Humbrol enamels (most of the time, the base color, a few times Humbrol primer), then I use Vallejo Acrylics for the main coats.

I just did this with one of my current builds......base of enamel and after drying time, I shot it with MM acrylics. So far (it's been about a week and a half) there have been no issues.

Absolutely. The only potential problem would be the water based acrylics beading up on a glossy surface if it's thinned too much. That alone would mkae you want to avoid a Kleer/Future coat in between. You can also safely airbrush enamels directly over acrylics and I always shoot a coat of Testor's Dullcote laquer directly over my figures that are painted in acrylics, sometimes within ahn hour of the final touches.
