Interesting on the close up of the winch it lists "Tulsa Winch" then below "Tula Okla." with no [b]s[/] in TULSA. I wonder if this was an error on Dragon's part or if the original.
I'm glad they didn't make Academy's flag mistake and included the correct 48 star flag.

Thanks for the review Vinnie, really this is a must have....not that I´m going to turn into WWII vehicles now, but for the chilean versions I can get from this one (scratch anyway) until the M3 it´s released.....no long from now I guess

Thanks for the review, this thing has been a real bolt from the blue--never expected it would appear so fast. One small corrrection--the A1 versions of the M2 and M3 had the pulpit for the .50 calibre machine gun. The original M2 and M3 halftracks had the skate ring.

DML models is bomb but this Half-Track is " BOMB ATOMIC".

Cripes I can't finish them fast enough as it is! I will probably have 6 kits built and primed waiting paint if this one comes out soon :-)

Actually, the M3 had a pedestal mount for the m.g. as the skate ring would have interfered with the rear door.

I second that, and as an added little bit of info, over 5,000 M2's were later rebuilt as M2A1's by removing the skate rail and adding the pulpit. So the winch or the unditching roller can actually be found on either/or.

Al, I think the marking on the winch may be have been done like that on purpose for trademark reasons...I was reading a article on the initial tiger DML have done, and in the article, it was mentioned that on the tires, the Word Continental (sorry if it's spelled wrong) that is on there is spelled differently to avoid using the company name, this may be the case here.
