I'm currently working on the new and wonderful DML Abrams and I was wondering if it should have an aerial recognition flag. I know they are a common sight on armour at the start of the war in 2003, but I am building one based on a vehicle from 2004? Any help is much appreciated.

VS-17 Panels were still used in '04, and still today. It would not be incorrect to have one on top of the tank.
