Please forgive me if this question is redundant but I would like to know if there is, avaiable on the market, any modern style European buildings. I'm thinking primarily about the Kosovo campaign but also buildings that could represent that of the city of Grozny or Chechnya.
Thank You,
Kurt

To the best of my knowledge there aren't Kurt, but hope to be proven wrong
What is it for? A diorama in 1/35th?
Have you considered scratchbuilding one? Or two? Do an image search for "Kosovo buildings"... brings up some ideas at least!
Cheers and good luck

Kurt,
I think that the 'Ukrainian Village House' by MiniArt is very suitable for that area. One of these days I will get on with the dio I'm doing using this building and a Warrior.

Some of the other MiniArt buildings, like the Fench Town House may well be usefull to you.
Cheers

If you are looking for buildings like in Grozny you should check out the Custom Dioramics Middle Eastern Tenement building and Middle Eastern Tenement Extension.
I think they are very good examples of apartment buildings in the Middle East, the Balkans, and Chechnya.
Much of the fighting in Grozny occured in the dense apartment building area. A Google image search of Grozny shows tons of damaged or destroyed basic structure apartments.

Hi Kurt,
My name is Mike, I'm a soldier with the U.S. Army Guard and I've just come off a deployment from Kosovo, with so many pics that its pitifull. I have about 8 Cds full of pics from all over the region, From major cities to mountain villages, I have ruined war torn buildings to newly built houses, just pm me to let me know what u might need and I can send them to u.
Scratch building a cou[ple wouldn't be that bad. just let me know and i can see what i can do.
Regards Mike.
P.S. The kit by Miniart doesn't due justice, the buildings in Kosovo are not like that really. That building u would find in the Middle East, and not in the Blakins

MY wife was born in Grozny. Due to the war there, she had moved to Astrakhan Russia as a child with her family. She has lots of pictures from Grozny, and honestly, I havent seen any good representations of the buildings there as models. I would suggest scratch building one. Even if you dont do the whole building, you could always do a corner of one for example. The reason I say that is that in all the pictures I saw from Grozny, most of the buildings were very large apartment buildings 4-6 floors. MOst people didnt live in houses. I will see if she has some pictures tonight, and I will scan them tomorrow for you.

He, I won't argue with people who have been there, as all my knowledge of the area is learned from pictures. But a quick google search brings up lots of pictures, and here are a few examples of what I mean. Single story, simple (farm)houses...
