As I was the first to say they WOULDN'T unveil it in Japan, I am now eating a large plate of crow (with Tamiya Bread(tm) on the the side)
However, DML have kindly sent me a stack of pics from their stand, so:
Much more to come....

I'd be willing to bet you on that one. I wouldn't bet against the Dragon kit being the better of the two.

Whilst I agree that a family of Churchills is needed I do not agree that Shermans are in over supply. Whilst it is true that we are getting a lot, the fact remains that there were a lot of them.
We have still to see:
dv versions of the M4, A1, A2 & A4 in plastic
A Jumbo (the Tamiya one is plain bad)
An M4 LAte hulled 105
An m4 composite 75 (either late or mid)
A DD
A Crab etc
I keep hoping to wake up and see a release list like the Trumpeter HT's but of Churchills. They'll come but not this year.
Cheers

Now! That is one I would like to have!!
Jim, as far as that Tami bread goes, grab two cans. I'll help you out just to see (from way-back-in-the-day) what modern canned bread tastes like. If it's like the MRE bread, then KOOL.....good stuff! Kinda like this Shermie. I've been wanting one, so from the looks of it, here it is! Indi's and all.

Mike, Lament Not! The tracks are (thank the plastic gods) Dragon Styrene - i.e. 'rubber band type'. Sounds positively heretical, but this is now standard with DML for Shermans they used their 1/72nd scale M4s as a 'test-bed' and the track on these is BRILLIANT...
@Dean - While I agree with you on the need for Churchills, we have also had a real need for items such as the HVSS Sherman, the M4a2/Sherman III and M4a1 (76), There are still a few to go, but this is for me at least the highlight of the releases from Tokyo. As far as the other suggestions for variants/conversions such as the Crab, it will only happen if they decide to do them as limited run kits from Cyber-Hobby. The Churchills will come - two months ago, there was no apparent chance of U.S. H/Tsm now we have a range from TWO manufacturers covering a large number of variants. Patience is a virtue (as well as an operetta :-) )....
