Guy's

What I'm looking for is the structure of a late 44 early 45 M18 equiped TD btn.

Did these btn have there own recon units M8, M20? also what did they have in the way of combat support vehicles M15/M16/M21 1/2 tracks? HQ unit vehicles?

Any help will be appreciated.

Ciao
Luciano

According to my limited references, a self propelled tank destroyer battalion had their own HQ, recon, engineer, and AA units. I don't have any specifics with regards to vehicle types and numbers, but it would seem logical that they would be equipped similar to an armored battalion as far as support vehicles are concerned.
Hope this helps a little.

Thanks Ed, that helps some.

I'm planning a dio and was just checking what vehicles would be in a TD Btn to go with a M-18.

Ciao
