russian soldier uniform color

what color would you sugest for ww2 russian uniform, tanyia says to use khakai, but it looks to green. any ideas? thanks

For your question, it depends cause of the lend lease program. it could be just about any color from khakai to olive drab. The russians got uniforms and other items from other countries. They did start makeing there own until late in the great war.

My firend from the Ukaraine has his father's old "padded jacket" (similar to the photo above). It is a green drab as opposed the tan-ish looking photo above). Guess they were a lot like the Jerries.... different factories, different dye lots, different times of production... probalby anything but hot pink would be close!
