Hi
Would the Future polish make the acylic paints stick better ???
Or would Humbrol matt clear laquer bite through the acrylics ???
I'm painting an R/C tank and want the colour to be more like enamels,
acrylics scratch off too easily.

Whatever paints you use I would prime the model first. Since it is an RC tank it will probably get banged up a bit when you take it outside. You can use Future polish to coat the acrylics for additional layer of protection but that will give you a shiny finish. You would need to spray a flat coat over that.

Hey colorado......there is specially formulated paint you can get for RC stuff. Its designed for RC off road race cars. The paint has an elasticty content to it, as it is designed to go in lexan car bodies, basically so the paint will bend with the body......you could prime your tank with a grey primer from that line of paint....and then I would say paint with normal model paint, either enamel or acrylic, but like Marty said....would shoot a layer or 2 of future for strenght, and then a shot of dullcote over top so the tank doesn't have a gloss to it.
