Do my eyes decieve me or is the track flexible with seperate center guides. WOW! The new track would be a nice release to back date all of their Sherman kits with the individual links.

Finally some images! Too bad they didn't add the dozer blade that is found in Academy's release. But what the heck? I'm getting this one!

Hi Jim:
Looks great - one of my very favourite Sherman variants. One thing I cannot tell from these images is whether Dragon has included the correct .50 calibre mount for the turret roof that fits over the rear ventilator. It's a pretty distinctive feature of the 105mm versions and not the easiest thing to scratchbuild. Is it in the kit?
The tracks look quite intriguing, with what seems to be a combination of DS tracks and injection-moulded centre guides. I wonder what that will be like to work with?
Cheers,
Scott

I'd passed on the Thunderbolt kit but this one has potential.
I too am intrigued with the DS/guide horn combination, since the DS is glueable, that would make the tracks "multi-media"? :-)
