Here is my idea that I would use for my HH-53 Super Jolly Green diorama.

I want to have it hovering over the jungle with the jungle penetrater on the ground waiting to be winched back to the chopper with the downed pilot on it.
I also want to have smoke form the downed pilots canister drifting up through the trees. The smoke would drift through the trees, and then be blown away from the rotors rotations. I also want to have a pilot running tword the penetrater.

I am kind of pondering if I should include my A-1 Sandy flying nearby, I don't know yet though.

Here are the problems I am faced with:

1) How could I secure the chopper to the base while having it hover over the jungle? Clear plastic rod?

2) How could I make the smoke drifting up though the trees? I mean like using glue to "hold" it in that position.

and 3) How could I make vegetation, jungle, and trees known to that part of the world?

The chopper is in 1/48 scale, so everything has to be to scale.

Let me know, all of your help would be greatly appreciated!!! And don't even think about stealing this idea. Well I don't care if you do, just don't let me know.
