Looks great so far. Do you have a crew of elves building these? You are really pumping them out.

But i think the decals on the CIP's 'this side of' are not correct

I thik that yes because in right side is not and on one pics( I-64 web) is on left but this tank I dont 100%
identification. I think that is no hinder because I see on pics I-64 and one tank is each time different.

Empty 40mm ammo boxes are bolted to the bustle rack and used as storage boxes by the crew. They are common on US AFVs.

Ahh, that's the right side of the turret.

I think it needs a bit of weathering and/or a wash to make it a little less monotone. It looks like it's not painted at all (well, on the screen of this computer at work anyway..).

Nice clean build though.

Cheers

Ahh, you got me there. I heven't seen that before myself. Probably just another storage space for the crew or for extra smoke grenades.

Henk, he is not finished with it yet. It is still in-progress, that is why it looks so stark.

Yes, this was on Attitude Adjustment too. The can should be painted green, tough.

Detailing is a relative term, but I recommend adding the grab handles on the side of the CIPs (that is how they are mounted in part, using straps) and the zip cuffs through holes in the battleboard (that is how they are hung off the extended bustle rack).

I don't think Miloslav has started weathering yet, so I suspect that is why the paint job looks flat.

I also recommend adding the grab handles on the top sides of the extended bustle rack.

For Henk, name is this building no finished. This tank is not mud sphere. Crew is this tank is very

Looks great, I am wondering how you are managing to buy all these M1's to push them out so fast. The only thing I have noticed is that on the CIPS, the panels on the turret which have the louvers facing up. On them you have the decal "THIS SIDE OFF" actually with the louvers facing up as you have them, the CIPS are technically ON. So to simply correct this you could paint over the decal

are you refering to the strap loops on each side of the panel mount itself? If so, this is where, of course, the straps go to keep the panel from bouncing up, but there are wide hooks on the back of the panel mount that slips over the actual rack on each side. its the same type of mount for the bustle rack, most of the time we knocked them off so that it would mount flush on the 5ton OVM box we used for extra storage.

Ric, yes. Wrong term I suppose.
